Tend to agree it seems a lot of effort when real forest and bears, wolves etc are within easy reach. And why bother with all the lunar / solar / recumbent mother alignment business for an entertainment arena?
However, if I'm honest, I don't want to think I've been touring around ancient equivalents of a bullring. Obviously it would be stupid to project modern moral values back in time, but it just seems a bit banal.
Clearly I'm of the "fluffy" enjoy-my-mythical-nonsense tendency.
