Sorry about the incompleteness, Texlahoma. Yes; 'Human, all too Human'. From the Penguin translation. A good read, if you get the chance. That or 'Beyond Good and Evil', perhaps.

I've just finished Bryan Magee's 'Confessions of a Philosopher' and would also thoroughly recommend it for the non-pro (i.e. like me)

Yep , Macgee is wonderful Gordon ,have still to read the more recent biographical stuff , but the confessions is a joy . I might still have some vids of "men of ideas " in the loft .
