Pissing on rock art seems kinda disrespectful to me.
I agree, but is it acceptable if the intent is good. ?
I obviously wouldn't piss on the stones of a stone circle as there'd be no need but if far from home with no water source around and you happen upon something that just may be a faded piece, what then. ?
ah but...

Carex hand gel with aloe vera, kills 99.9% of bacteria. ; )
I always have a small bottle in the pocket of my rucksack and to date i've never become so thirsty i've had to drink it.
Don't you also carry a bottle of water in your rucksack in case you do get thirsty??...Mind you if you do use that on rock art....then get thirsty...you'd have to drink your wee, because drinking the water would've made you need and you'd have to keep the Carex(other brands of hand-wash are available), to clean your hands after your number 1's....now I'm stopping here..there are too many unsettling scenarios!!!
