Moth, as you are located in Oxfordshire I wondered whether you had come across Stonor Stone Circle - not strictly speaking a new stone circle but a relocated one. Apparently the house and chapel are built on its original site and one of the stones has been incorporated into the chapel as a corner stone. I know "churches on ancient sites" has been discussed many times but is this the only example of the stone circle being relocated nearby? There was once a bit of a discussion about whether modern circles etc should be included - if only to 'warn' people that they're modern, but I think the Eds said no.
Being to do with druids (for want of a better expression) would have no bearing on it being on TMA, what with the 'real' stone circles being older than druids anyway.... ;^)
