I sometimes wonder if its worth starting a page for every megalithic site in the uk, whether they have been visited or not, or have photos or not. The site has become a primary resourse for anyone taking the first steps to see what is in their area, and so much is being lost, the same way folklore is being lost. Seems a place to begin so people nearby such sites can go andget stuff to add. Perhaps even add an appeal that someone does so on those pages with no information yet.

You can't believe how much i'd like to do a Motorcycle/ Megalith tour of the isle's. I will. It's still 10 years down the road though. Career is just too important right now. But it all starts with a personal interest/fascination with these things. When i was a kid, i read EVERY single book in the library on Egyptology. Why? It's a personal thing i guess. But as you said, and as we know, it's a very long tradition of passing it via spoken tales to others. Thus far, it seems, the tradition is still safe with you. And thanks for that. I put that Amazon/ Book link in my favorites for order too.
