I don't really believe in Father Christmas but I'll be dropping a few hints anyway. It looks like a beautiful book.

Front and back cover are decorated by splendid photos, taken by the well-known Mr Brian Kerr. I already had the opportunity to look inside the book and there are many more fine photographs, among others taken by Stan, George, Brian, Ian and many more
Excellent work, chaps! You must be dead chuffed... :)

I'll deffo be grabbing a copy at some point. Then camping outside your houses till you agree to sign it. ;)

Looks like an amazing piece of work!

I've just ordered this from Amazon who have it on a special offer of £11.79 plus free delivery. The first time I've bought a book online, I'm committed to keeping bookshops alive by using them but I doubt if any could compete with this price.

I ordered my copy from Amazon over the weekend and the postman has just come by with it. It is nearly 8.00pm but he lives locally and I wasn't in earlier - neighbourly eh!
The book looks great - a mixture of exquisite colour photographs plus some black & white ones. I know I'm going to enjoy reading it.

I really have all the people who contribute rock art photos to this web-site to thank for my fast growing interest - so thank you.

Once again: Amazon are selling it reduced from £18.99 to £11.79 with free delivery.

EDIT:
I've just read the Acknowledgements page and Stan Beckensall uses this to close:

And this our life, exempt from public haunt
Finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks,
Sermans in stones, and good in everything.
