..but if you can just print out the sections you need for a walk it's a damm sight cheaper than paying £7.99 for something you might only use once or twice.

Oh I have no doubt I'll do that as well! :)

Yeah, there'll certainly be occasions where a single sheet (or 2) of A4 would be a darn sight easier than a big cumbersome map, but - for me, anyway - it'll not replace the desire or need to buy a map. I know it's geeky, but I love a map, me! :)

I suppose it's like downloading music from iTunes or Amazon or wherever - it's immediate and simple, but no replacement for actually having the physical cd or lp!
