Site name / Country / Grid Ref / Time of Year (eg Winter Solstice) Confirmed / Suspected
How about if you start a new thread (for the moment) and call it Megalithic Alignments or some such - like Megalithic Poems, Megalithic Art. Then let people enter the ones that they know, with each title carrying; site name/county/country/time of year (event).

Inside the message they could have grid ref + declination if available(quoting reference) or personal observation if that is the case.

eg.
Title:
Drombeg, Co. Cork, Ireland, Winter Solstice

Inside Message:
Grid Ref: W 24670 35159
Declination: -23.0 (Ruggles, AiPB&I etc., 217)

That's much too complicated - and don't forget that many of the original alignments are near useless due to the movement of the earth around the (the precession of the equinoxes).

Professor Thom made a table of strongly suspected alignments in his first book - it was part of his life's work. So, in this putative data base, the discoverer of the suspected alignmentshould be included also.
