Rather than edit the above post I should just like to add a cautionary note: I understand that some astro-archaeologists refute the maths in the above article with given that no-one ever bothers to check their accuracy. This I totally accept but reading through the article has helped a 'novice' such I myself to understand some of the debates that take place on this forum.
