With journals it is usually this way. The paper one is published once or twice a year, so subscriptions are for the calendar year. Was just about to subscribe but then they asked if it was for 2009 or 2010, I dont want to end up paying for 2009 only to have to subscribe again in January. Surely this isn't the way it works?!
