have been looking at a couple more sites on Exmoor and took a few phots but can find no way of posting them. What am I doing wrong?
I haven't posted any images for the same reason though I did contact TMA Eds and they advised me that the images I was trying to post were too large. This website used to scale them down but that doesn't happen anymore so they should be re-sized before posting is attempted. I had this problem on another forum and use Photobucket but you can't upload from Photobucket onto this forum.

I too would like some useful tips in this area:

These are TMA's guidelines:
•For optimum quality, your images should be no larger than 200k and no bigger than 720 pixels along their longest edge. Images over these limits will be automatically scaled down, with a potential loss of quality.

I posted one this morning - so I know that a Bear of Very Little Brain can manage it. Have you got Microsoft Office Picture Manager? or something like that that you look at your photos with? You just have to open your picture in that, and then go to > Picture > Resize. Then alter the size with the options that come up on the right, and resave it somewhere else as a different name. Then when you upload it to TMA, press 'browse' and find the place where the file is on your own computer. Sorted. Hopefully.

Or am I missing the point, Bob? Do you mean what do you do to post the image? If the site's already on TMA, just go to that site's page, and before you get down to all the photos and the notes, there's a little pull down menu on the right hand side that says 'Add'. You pull that down and pick 'add an image', then it'll take you to the page where you add all the details. If you've been to a 'new' site that's not on the website yet, it's more complicated.
