After you installed google earth did you go back to the maps page on here and click on the .kml file link? It's this one -

http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/googleEarth/kml/TheModernAntiquarian.kml

That should fire up google earth if it's not already open, give it a few seconds and you should get a list of site types in the window to your left, click one or several and they should appear on the map and away you go.
