A good joke! Cows may daydream standing up but they lie down to sleep. At night. Following this thread confirms my view that there's no hope for the human race as the decision makers are so irreversibly alienated from the natural world.

Yes, I can relate to your last sentence.

I was out walking in the Oxfordshire countryside yesterday and a herd of beautiful black heifers similar to the on in PMM's photo moved towards us with curiosity - there was however, a barbed wire fence between us.

I don't have a religion though heard the expression 'possibilion' used this morning by American scientist David Eagleman, who came up with the word to 'celebrate the vastness of our ignorance'. I do have empathy with some aspects of certain religions ... the Hindus revere and protect their cows as sacred.
