It's not really lighting as such, (no good for finding your way to the bog ) but does the tent illumination thing in a most appealing manner:

For getting about/finding stuff, LED head torches are canny good. But, I got to say, whilst LED lanterns are great for power consumption and lifespan, the bluey-white light is far too cold and actinic for my liking.
