One you can stand up in. !
That excludes backpacking tents then.
Most of the time i just set up the van so i can sleep in that, just as comfy and no need to pack everything away when moving around sites.
I haven't got a camper van, just a small car-derived van. I've slept in it before* but I can't stretch out in it (I'm six foot) and it drives me mad!

*when I booked a room at the Red Lion Avebury and found they have a 'lock in' after eleven.

Mines not a camper van, it's a transit but the bulkhead prevents me from sleeping in the back, it's almost like having a small van, i sleep on the floor between the 2 rows of seats and cook in the back, just done this for 4 night at Avebury.
I've had small vans and know what you mean, even sleeping diagonally corner to corner it's frustratingly always an inch or 3 too small.
I have loads of lightweight backpacking gear but when it comes to tents that you can stand in i'm lost, i'm just happy to be able to sit up in the ones i have so i can cook in bad weather, standing now that would be a luxury. :)
