There's a chance I might be down there myself this weekend if the car checks out ok tomorrow (if I'm without wheels I might get ferry to Anglesey!) so will let you know if I'm down about there, I could show you 7 or 8 in a few hours maybe if it's a whistle stop tour!
Thanks for the offer Ken but its a bit of a family outing, I dont want to get into anything too serious, was just wondering was it worth the trek.
We are staying down in Caherdaniel, Im hoping to head out to Skellig Michael and maybe take in a few wedge tombs nearby that I might have a look at.
I believe there is a rock art panel near Staigue Fort as well so will probably try and find that (All hangover permitting of course!).

No worries, if you dont have a good few hours then Staigue is a very easy to reach panel which is also very, very nice. If I remember correctly you come to a bend on the road to the fort with a little bridge going off down a little track (drivable) to the right. There's a gate on the right that you can walk through, straight ahead into next field which has the outcrop stretching uphill, most of the good stuff is on the far end of the visible outcrop.

If you see strange lights going off in the hills near dark, it's either aliens or snarks, or me.
