To my eyes, totally fake! It's also on a vertical surface which is fairly rare to begin with which combined with it's modern superficial and scratched look kind of rules it out for me.

It looks a bit like lichen to me growing out in rings, specially the top one which is scallopy. Probably isn't but I can't see well enough on the picture to see it as scratches.
