There's currently an exhibition at Kendal museum, entitled "Unlocking the Past, Understanding the Present", which runs until July 31st this year.
It's worth a visit, if in the area, if only to view the collection of stone tools, including a cracking collection of Great Langdale stone axes, both finished, and rough-outs. It's nowt but a midges over a couple of quid to get in.
