"Ms Hobbs said she is now going to consult a solicitor."
Love it!

Herding cats - do you fancy co-sponsoring a formal complaint on the bypassing of the planning process by the county council ? How about two complaints? 1 Northumberland (already underway) and 2 Cumbria (I don't even know the name of the estate but have one photograph of their unplanned road - should show up on GoogleEarth?

My hops have never been used for brewing yet. It is only last christmas that I encountered a postman that would take them. It's herbalism. And political activism (as the plant is the closest relative to hemp and has its mildly hallucinogenic flowers commercially harvested). It's also the most expensive vegetable listed on some EU list - the shoots are sold as asparagus substitute somewhere (not Gateshead).
