Far out places

I stayed in one place, or maybe two places, until I was about 31 and never wanted to leave the British Isles for any reason and rarely did. Totally dedicated to my own cosmology; just couldn't see the point in going anywhere else. Too much to see in the British Isles. But for some reason I started taking notice of people telling me that it might do me good or something and went on a 6 week jaunt and got uprooted. Since then I've been a-travelling and can't settle down and now 'm just way down some journey and not easily able to get back (help! o/). Mexico is just round the corner, so...may as well I suppose. I'm a bit short sighted but I tink I got a vision here somewhere.

My friend's middle name was Rolo - was he a Viking king? Apparently there's a stepped pyramid on the outskirts of Mexico City - if I remember that programme right - and it'd be good to see all those Beetles on the streets, the secondhand VW dealers' lots interesting, and then there's the modern mythology; The Long Goodbye, No Country For Old Men, Lee Van Cleef westerns, and I think there is, or was, a Fender plant somewhere. but Wales looks like a foreign country from here!
