Yeah. It's a frequent misquote/misconception. I'd prefer it to be stated as "a quarter of European carved passage tomb art".

Can't believe you found the Guardian thing! I'm always happy to stand corrected. The frustrating thing is that I took that info from an 'official' piece of Knowth's own literature... and I tried so hard not to get it wrong:-(
To be honest, my head was only thinking about larger sites. If I'd realised at the time that my wording included every carved stone.... Call me dim and tear the page out of the book.

and does anyone not think that Arbor Low deserves to be in a top ten?
