I've got some news for you! Straight from the pages of Tynedale Planning. They've acknowledged my complaints, at last, but 'the county archaeologist' has told them that the Bronze Age/Iron Age Homestead, on the SMR, that was cut in two by the last road, in May, isn't on the SMR. So, either it's still there but he can't find it or it's been deliberately removed from the SMR. It was there in June - on the online version - and I now wish I'd taken down its reference number. Local politics! But at least something's happening, I suppose.

So are you saying things prehistoric features get cut in half by roads thanks to the machinations of local politics? Surely not?!

How's this for Notlob-Hereford synchronicity?!
