Several Irish circles (and tombs for that matter) are known as The Giant's Griddle - Boleycariggeen in Wicklow for instance. At Boleycarrigeen it is said that Finn McCool (who else) comes down from Keadeen Mountain to cook there. Oooh, a theory, I've not had one of those in a while...
