Bu the time you go up there I should have a "How to do a site survey" guide which should help. I'm generally against intrusion myself (even by archaeologists) so I understand how you feel.

I'd like to go up there myself but its very far.

Thanks that would be helpful! it is a long way it normally takes about 14 hours from aberystwyth on the train so i normally go up only once or twice a year but this july is the wedding season luckily one is the week after the other so i only have to make one journey up! I must admit though the thought of the journey is always worse than the jorney itself once i'm travelling i quite enjoy it.
