I watched this last night:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/page/item/b00bflkc.shtml

"Series which finds out what happened to people featured in past documentaries revisits a group who took part in an experiment to live like our Iron Age ancestors."

There were no great revelations or owt in this documentary, but it was quite interesting to see how this sort of programme was treated then compared to how it would be now. The participants really seemed keen to get stuck in, which was nice. I loved the fact they had to build their own village, for starters.

I seem to remember a similar project only a few years back, which failed miserably due to the participants demanding such things as "Sunday dinner" and the suchlike. :D

Be good to have seen the original programme. I was too young. ;)

I forgot what this was called when I posted on Rhiannons thread, so I'm glad some folks saw it. Turns out that my mates dad was the original 1978 sound recordist on this, which I didn't know until afterwards.
It was interesting viewing.
