sorry to add a third comment before a response from all you nice people. but , let us discuss this find at the recent dig. i understand that they found the grain on the last day and at the deepest level, which implies it is concurrent with stonehenge III.
other ancient items found were beacker pottery, stone chips, and stone sockets......... a flint was found near to the grain sample....both suggest an ancient age.
once again, grain and ancient stonehenge are connected, by the simple fact of being found together. let me say, if they had found some sort of ancient astronomical thing or religious thing in this recent dig, much would be being made of it here.
what they did and did not find is telling. any thoughts?
