As for the site name, Frank Elgee calls the site Standing Stones Rigg as do Chappell and Brown so I guess this is the correct name for the site.
Stanhope White favours Knox's description and calls the site 'the druids circle'. Burl refers to the site as Cloughton Moor, which is also an accurate description of the location.
