In the version that Geezer Butler tells though, there was a mix up between measurements in metres and feet and the megaliths ended up being 45 feet high and they couldn't get them in the NEC.

Sorry its not really relevant. Was reading this yesterday while working on my dissertation and it made me laugh. Apparently though, the similarity between this incident and the Spinal Tap scene is purely coincidental as that bit of the film had been shot and included in a 20 minute demo of the film the year before Black Sabbath's Born Again tour.
