Or a carousel... but whilst on the subject of books I acquired Chris Scarre "The Megalithic Monuments of Britain and Ireland" a couple of weeks ago, which I think he wrote for a french audience and then it got translated back to English... but he seems to put the Avebury Cove in the centre of the northern inner circle, its pictured with that caption.....which is a bit puzzling.
