An orientation involving the Stanton Drew great circle that may be of iinterest and may also be "just one of those things " or bollocks = Shortly after Newgrange was built the winter solstice sun would have shone through the roof box on a bearing of 132.874 degrees , the bearing from the centre of Newgrange to Stanton Drew great circle = 132.895 . I have never seen this mentioned previously so apologies in advance if it has been spotted before .

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that. I will bear that in mind for my future talks about the site. It might be a bit difficult to weave it into the poetry LOL.
