The memorial park does contain a 'faux' stone circle as well as some shaped stone with some of his poetry inscribed upon it. I guess given the local availability of sarsen that sourcing them for the park wasn't a problem.

maybe they floated them down Letcombe brook on rafts before putting them into place... :-)
