Scubi, have you had any luck?
I am stuck in exactly the same position you describe.
I just keep getting a message about the file being corrupt or unrecognised format - or the disc thing you mention.
It's so frustrating - I'm sure it's just a matter of doing the right things in the right order but I can't do it.
I've got winrar and everything.
any help very gratefully received
Equally neolithic Rh.

I was getting the same thing, I almost gave up!!

After renaming the first file and putting both files into a new folder extract the second file. I used zipit (not sure if there's a windows version) I extracted the second file which then proceeded to do it's job. A new window opened up asking for he next part of the file. If there's a drop down box in this new window try setting it to all files and then try it.

Does that make sense? Probably not!!

I am stuck at work at the moment so have limited PC usage but will give it another look tonight at let you know.

I am running Vista on my pc and that is just adding to the problems.

Hopefully somebody more clever than me will come up with a 'complete idiots guide to....' - in the mean time I will keep hitting it with my club

Scubi

Before renaming the TMA file go into folder options and uncheck the box for 'Hide extensions for known file types' then rename the file to tma2.z01 removing the .zip extension, if you simply rename the file without the extension being visible you will actually have renamed the file to tma2.z01.zip (.zip is hidden) & the extraction will not work. Hope this helps.
