We have a book by stanhope white which mentions a few sites that we hadnt heard of befor, are there any local books that you could recommend. By the way have you found the circle at commondale?

Oh man ,
I've been looking for Stanhope White's book for years. It's the best guide you could have. The rest I have gleaned mainly from Burl's bible, and the OS maps.
M/bro council published a nice book called 'The Archaeology of Cleveland'. It only cost a couple of quid. If you live locally you could try the Dorman Museum or Margrove Park. Would you like me look out for a copy for you. There is other bits and bobs, give me an e-mail at [email protected] and we'll discuss it.
