won't bother repeating what Ocifant said..but feelings much the same..great to meet up and have a good walk..and a pint!

...I enjoyed the walk so much I repeated it on Saturday morning with a friend from Newlyn. The good news is the bottle that was buried at Men an Tol has now gone.

Sory to hear you met a 'local' at the Mutton Menhir Ocifant...better luck next time..and yes you do have a right to be in there..now you know aht I am up against writing books up there!

CASPN were on the ball once I'd reported it, and it was removed the same day! See http://www.cornishancientsites.com/damage-report.htm for details and some photos. I saw the object(s) in person on Tuesday. All very strange.

Re Mutton Downs, I didn't think until afterwards, but I could have tried flashing my HA credentials at him! :-)
