1. It does look brilliant!

2. If you go, you're taking me with you.

3. Sweden is a brilliant place. Clean, big and easy to navigate linguistically. A bit expensive, but not as bad as it used to be.

The industrial revolution arrived there later than in other parts of Europe and not in such a rush. There are numerous sites (standing stones, dolmens, circles, recumbents) in the middle of towns or in peoples gardens or sympathetically included in developments (i.e. as a feature rather than as materials). The clearance of antiquarian sites that happened in (e.g.) the UK didn't happen the same way.

I think I could spend months exploring Swedish antiquity.

You should come here more often! :D

Cor, yeah! Sounds like you'd be a great guide! Can the Swedes handle both of us tho?

*sigh*

You make it sound even MORE inviting! I used to work with a lot of people from Sweden - if only I'd known about these places!
