airt up. I've often thought of the court tomb builders as somewhat hyperborean.
What I find odd is that it is commonly believed that portal tombs structurally derived from court tombs, but portals mainly are east- or west-facing. I can't understand the need to tie something to something else that went before as if there were never any new ideas. There are only so many variations to a stone-built box, so there are bound to be similarities. This doesn't necessarily mean derivation.
