Cheers Ken,

Its a little bit of Photomatix Pro, though i tend not to go for the full HDR, ie multiple images, more the pseudo HDR using a single raw, which i think sometimes gives a more natural look. As you say you see alot of overblown HDR on the web that look bloody awful. The photo of Kettley Crags worked really well, and doesn't have too much done to it, almost straight from the camera. I am kinda keen on seeing what you get using HDR mixed with the flash, doesn't always work, but sometimes it does.

I might drop you a email Ken, i am looking at working on a website, interested to hear you choices for shadowstone.com, are you using Smug?

cheers Brian

Changed my email address Wolfy, it's now cianmcliamATo2.ie (that's the letter o). Yeah I'm using smug, easy to set up, customise and maintain, even for a lazy sod like me. I'm also too lazy to do any real HDR, if I can scape by without using a tripod I will. Sometimes in a pinch I'll open the same RAW file for highlights and shadows in potatoshop but I'm afraid to touch photomatrix or other programs since it seems to curse a lot of people with an aesthetic lobotomy!
