Jane tended to classify stuff as taula or talaiot rather than poblat coz it's kinda more specific without needing people to know that they're (usually) within a poblat - or were originally.

As I'm sure you have thought yourself it means that we don't need so many subdivisions within each one. Coz basically within most poblats, you'd then need a subsite for the taula and another for the talaiot or talaiots. And then, what, another for the poblatty bits?
