Yes, I was also wondering if there are any other examples of old churches being situated so close together - seems a strange thing to do.
The tiny village of Llangernyw has three churches almost in a row, the northern most church has the magnificent yew tree that is the oldest tree in Wales. It is also the meeting place of at least three rivers.(not forgetting the standing stones too)

Interesting; if they're old churches I wonder if they indicate three distinct Christianized sites? It's not uncommon to find little Shinto shrines dedicated to different Shinto spirits close to one another.
