Have you got a map?

Years ago, my now-ex had family out that way and I bought a touring map, just so I'd know where I was going. I didn't have the stones bug in those days, it's only recently I've found out how rich in sites it is out there. I may still have the map somewhere... I'll see if I can lay my hands on it next week when I'm back from Cornwall.

Hi FW

Did Galicia last October...in torrential wind and rain! In fact it was while battling to take photos at barona that my camera gave up and I had to buy a disposable for our two days in Santiago.

Somewhere on here there is a thread I posted on return giving detail of Rock Art sites and other points of interest. Porto de Son has a little museum all about pre-history and Castle de Barona is just along the coast.

We didn't get to any rock art sites though there were a couple signposted from the main road just east of Porto. Visited a great quoit down on the tip of the peninsular, that was well signposted to but sadly a lot isn't.

I will go hunt for the thread and get back to you. Any other info you need just ask.

Santiago is stunning...and full of bars! I think there is around 40 in the narrow street leading up to the cathedral!...foods not bad either!
