You don't have to have your own (paid for) web space to put pics in with the text - I use fotopic.net and some geocities space for mine .... http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/user/1234/weblog/ .... you can get problems with too many people viewing images as both have visit limits, but it does the job for stuff that can't yet be hosted on TMA itself.
Hopefully - please, Eds/Holy, soon - when? - there will be European, if not worldwide coverage, on the way.
