hi everyone, i just stumbled across your site and loved it, but was surprised to find no mention of archaeolink, the pre history park in aberdeenshire. you might have guessed that i work there, and am therefore slightly biased, but i think it might be the kind of place that you guys would be interested in? we cover pre-history in scotland from the mesolithic through to the iron age and do reconstructive archaeology and all kinds of events through the year. the park has everything from a reconstruction recumbent stone circle to a roman marching camp, with a few dwelling houses from different periods in between. please tell me people have heard of this place?!?

Hi & welcome Flick
Mr Hob posted a link to Archaeolink in the Aberdeen section. Unfortunately it seems to be broken. I think we've had another worker from Archaeololink posting here in the past.

cheers

Loie and I visited Archaeolink in 1999. We enjoyed the round house reconstruction. The park was fun and informative, but not very active on a weekday in early June. I bet it's gotten up and running full tilt by now.
