Those Fuji slr-alikes are really great but probably well over budget, this is a camera that has had good reviews and lots of features: http://www.pixmania.com/ie/uk/382392/art/canon/powershot-a710-is.html?itag=6051 and comes in just a little over budget.

If you want to stay with Fuji and within budget, this is a great camera for low-light situations and may take the same memory cards as your old one: http://s35310688.einsundeinsshop.de/sess/utn;jsessionid=15466526eeec09e/shopdata/index.shopscript

I recently bought the canon A640, a 10mp camera with a vari angle viewer. The viewer just has to be a boon for your average rock fondler. Images are great below ISO200, but can get a little noisey after that. Currently going for about £150 on ebay.

Thanks to everyone for advice.
Ive decided to change brands and go for the Canon powershot.
Hopefully it will go well and help improve the quality of my pics.
Or worst let me take pics which my current broken one wont!
