An interesting point about the rocking stone it does not rock any more!! In c1813 two of my family who were quarry men at Wholestone Moor decided to chip the bottom off the stone... !! The initials C.B & I.B i think are on the altar.... A later year from the 1st world war is on 1914? I haven't Been up for many years since recently. The people Charles and Ian (John) Broadbent of Launds....
