Wessex are notorious for keeping their finds quiet.
I spoke to someone from Wessex Archaeology in March who told me they had just discovered a lead coffin with a rich R*man burial inside somewhere near Amesbury.

I heard something similar.
There's a massive house building programme around Amesbury and Boscombe Down at the moment ..... I heard that something pretty exciting was discovered and re-buried near White Railings (which will soon be covered in houses). I'm beginning to wonder if organisations like WA are just there to rubber stamp development plans? Perhaps I'm being unfair, as I don't know enough about how they work.
