Unreported discoveries.

Can anyone tell me if organisations like Wessex Archaeology are obliged to make public announcements on significant discovories? Also, anyone know if any significant discoveries have been made around Boscombe Down/Amesbury in the last 4 weeks?

Wessex are notorious for keeping their finds quiet.
I spoke to someone from Wessex Archaeology in March who told me they had just discovered a lead coffin with a rich R*man burial inside somewhere near Amesbury.
