More pertinently, for the better understanding of anyone following this scintillating debate, would you and Cymap, who both appear to be vociferous in your support for responsible detecting, care to tell everyone here whether you both report all your finds to PAS in compliance with the definition of responsible detecting laid out by the official Code of Practice?

Thanks for sharing his little joke with us. Well whether the person who it would seem from what you say you emailed yesterday about TMA has got "clout" or not, I am sure he is glad to have such a loyal friend who shares with us all the unprofessional remarks he entrusts to private mails to you. (You can mail him back to tell him I have never called him names behind his back and ask if he's still laughing, I rather got the impression that he was a bit miffed in fact.)
