The best combo ever has to the the Western Isles!
Visit Callanish and all there is to offer around (that's lots!) and see the most beautiful Atlantic beaches - I particularly recommend the beach on Harris overlooking Taransay grid ref 57.8722N -6.913E and if you're able to island hop, Benbecula and South Uist have magnificent places too.
On Benbecula, there's a campsite at 57.4258N -7.3693E on a beach with a hotel bar to refresh you (and the staff even insisted on driving us the few yards home after a bit too much refreshment!) but elsewhere, take your own!
