Soooo i would say this place is a serious source academic and everyone.
Those early mornings are catching up with you, but you at least get me scratching my head trying to make it make sense!

Have you noticed how you had two firsts in two days on your Devon blog? They both start "To my great annoyance, for the first time" ;)

Those early mornings caught up with me a long time ago, can anyone function properly on less than 5 hrs sleep a day?
Two firsts in two days? no just one day, firstly I dont usually get up late and secondly I'm always in time for the sunrise, so to drop two bollocks in one morning was indeed greatly annoying.
Sorry if it sometimes makes you scratch your head I'm as much a writer as I am archeoastronomer.

It keeps the nits busy scampering for cover anyway...

I find the hours you keep pretty impressive to be honest - I have had early starts and really enjoyed the buzz - to be driving down the M20 towards the rising sun while everyone else is heading into London the other way...that's a real double-whammy for me. And as from Monday that's what I do, but not too early, thankfully. Too old for 6am starts...

As for the original reason for this thread, I find it refreshing that peoples' opinions are taken into consideration rather than quoting some guy in Whitehall who never read the paper submitted to him, let alone visited the place. There are not too many sites dealing with as many UK sites as there are available like TMA, so where else to go for opinions, personal reports and general gleaned info than TMA?
