Axe Head/Hand Axe?

Someone on the stone pages said this might be debitage, and having looked at other examples on the net, it may well be. However, I can't help but see the classic axe head shape when I look at it, even though it is a bit small!

I will contact PAS, hopefully someone will be able take a look at it. Thanks for your help.

Update : I sent photos of the object to my local PAS Finds Liason Officer and she has replied saying it doesn't appear to be a knapped prehistoric tool, as it's too flat and doesn't appear to have been worked by having flakes struck off it.

Hmmm. Oh well!
